Reynolds Frizzell is pleased to welcome Jason Daniels back to the firm as a trial attorney. A native Houstonian, Jason returns to Reynolds Frizzell after previously serving as a summer associate with the firm in 2024 and 2025.
Jason focuses his practice on commercial litigation, with an emphasis on regulatory and compliance matters and disputes involving the oil and gas industry. He brings experience analyzing complex legal issues and developing litigation strategies tailored to the needs of each case.
Before returning to Reynolds Frizzell, Jason served as a law clerk to the Honorable Charles R. Eskridge III of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas in Houston. His federal clerkship provided firsthand insight into the judicial process and valuable perspective on litigation in federal court, including the evaluation of complex legal issues and advocacy in a fast-paced court environment.
Jason earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2025, where he served as Managing Editor of the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy: Per Curiam. He earned his B.A. in History and Philosophy, summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama in 2021, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the Honors College.
Outside of his legal practice, Jason has a longstanding commitment to service and mentorship. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 13 in Houston and has served as an elementary school tutor, camp counselor, and ministry mentor to college students. He is a member of the Garland R. Walker American Inn of Court and the Federalist Society.
