Despite being hired as substitute Lead Counsel only after an adverse jury verdict finding the defendant guilty of fraud and awarding $1.5 million in damages, successfully prepared and argued post-verdict motions on behalf of the defendant and obtained a judgment notwithstanding the verdict. The trial court disregarded the jury’s verdict and entered a final judgment of no liability.
