Reynolds Frizzell LLP is pleased to welcome Alejandra Chavira to the firm. Alejandra brings a combination of federal court experience, strong research and writing skills, and a background in the electric power industry to her litigation practice.
Before joining Reynolds Frizzell, Alejandra served as a law clerk to the Honorable James E. Graves, Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Honorable Nelva Gonzales Ramos of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. While attending The University of Texas School of Law, she also worked as a student attorney with the Supreme Court Clinic, assisting with a petition for a writ of certiorari and an amicus brief.
Before law school, Alejandra spent more than five years at El Paso Electric Company, working in public relations and governmental affairs. Her experience included developing legislative policy in Texas and New Mexico, fostering community relations, and helping secure regulatory approvals. This background gives her a practical understanding of the business and regulatory considerations that can shape complex disputes.
Alejandra earned her J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law in 2024 and her B.A. in political science, with a concentration in international relations, from Williams College.
