18 months after the case had commenced in state court, the firm substituted into the case as lead counsel for the defendant. The firm subsequntly filed a motion to compel arbitrtion, which was denied by the trial court, but then successfully appealed, obtaining a ruling from the Houston 14th Court of Appeals order the case to arbitration.
