Mike Oldham and Jeremy Doyle were hired after close of discovery to defend ExxonMobil at trial against claims brought by DCP Midstream in a suit involving gas accounting and Unit allocations. Suit had been filed in 2006, alleging various theories to recover damages for gas misallocation and/or tailgate imbalances caused by ExxonMobil, the Unit operator. In June 2011, our firm was hired to take over the representation and try the case for ExxonMobil. The case proceeded to trial in September 2011, and the jury returned a verdict in ExxonMobil’s favor.
