Represented an oil and gas midstream company in a dispute with a producer, relating to the producer’s failure to sell gas and natural gas liquids (NGLs) produced in Southeast New Mexico committed to the midstream company. We bought claims under a gas purchase contract and an NGL purchase agreement, seeking declaratory relief regarding the midstream company’s rights under the contracts and specific performance of the producer’s obligations. After a seven-day arbitration hearing, the arbitration panel issued an award to our client under both contracts, which included declaratory relief, specific performance, damages, and attorneys’ fees.
