Biography

Zach Burford is a creative thinker with natural intellectual curiosity. A competitive mindset and constant desire to learn enable him to look at issues from multiple angles and develop the strongest possible solution for his clients across industries.

Zach studied molecular biology at the University of California, Berkeley and brings an intellectual depth to the Reynolds Frizzell team that will serve him well in out-of-the-box thinking. He draws upon his education and conceptual foundation to perform the complex, deep-dive analysis required for a commercial litigation practice. Having grown up in a family of trial lawyers, thinking like a litigator comes naturally to Zach. His longstanding comfort with legal reasoning pairs powerfully with his diverse educational background.

Zach graduated with honors from The University of Texas School of Law where he served as the Articles Editor of the Texas Law Review and was accepted into the Supreme Court Clinic. After law school, he gained valuable experience working on large, complex cases when he clerked for Judge Jane J. Boyle of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas for two years. Prior to law school, he volunteered with Support for International Change in rural Tanzania where he organized and executed a two-month HIV, AIDS, and sexual health education program.
