Biography

Laura Murray brings a unique combination of business acumen and legal insight to her litigation practice. Her deep understanding of business principles, investor expectations, and complex deal structuring – honed over many years as a banker – allows her to quickly grasp the financial realties at the heart of her clients’ disputes. Clients value her proactive communication, thorough preparation, and ability to retain and recall intricate case details.

Laura’s experience includes representing plaintiffs and defendants involved in shareholder litigation, partnership and contract disputes, multi-district litigation, and real estate disputes. Her experience spans a wide range of industries, including real estate, healthcare, energy, and banking. While practicing at a prior firm, Laura successfully presented an oral argument against summary judgement and drafted a summary judgement motion that was granted.

Prior to her legal career, Laura served as a Vice President at a large financial services company where she focused on oil and gas lending, restructuring, and private equity transactions across diversified industries.
